barca cant keep up with the pace of most villareal playerrs. Villareal plays much speedier set plays than Let say Real Madrid. guys like iniesta and xavi are useless at mid when villareal has posession

Arsenal used to have great wingers like Overmars, Pires and Ljungberg, this team today lacks those wingers. Hleb and Rosicky play better when they have a more inside roll, not great wingers. Wallcott could become one but we need one that is great now not in 4 years.
I still think he’d do a great job in the Arsenal team, exactly the kind of clinical finisher breaking into the box we need.
I always wondered why Pires was generally under rated, for me one of Arsenal’s greatest ever. Only Overmars comes close in my memory.

Pires was the best Left sided mifielder ever for Arsenal and one of the greatest in the premier league.. his runs/dribbles, passing, shooting, awareness was just amazing, he made alot of people happy at highbury u always new he would score and make a difference.
Of course, that is why Pires is an Arsenal legend and regarded as one of the best scoring midfielders
